Picasso exhibition to open in Liverpool by Cheap Flights Booker UK

People with a passion for modern art will be able to visit Liverpool this summer to see a major new exhibition in the city.

Picasso: Peace and Freedom will come to Tate Liverpool from 21 May to 30 August.

The exhibition will focus on Pablo Picasso"s interest in political activism and campaigning for peace, a side of the artist that is often overshadowed by his reputation for being a playboy and extrovert.

Visitors will be able to see a total of 150 works by the Spanish artist from all over the world, which represent his output during the Cold War era.

The exhibition is expected to be the first to offer an in-depth exploration of Picasso"s life and work in the post-war period.

Tate Liverpool is currently hosting a display focusing on the impact of different black cultures from around the Atlantic on 20th century and contemporary art, which will run until 25 April.
