US hotspots expected to remain popular by Cheap Flights Booker UK
The travel hotspots of Florida, New York and California in the US are expected to remain popular in 2011.
Stella Clery-Ackland of the US Travel Association pointed out that these states have led the country"s tourism industry for the past two decades and are set to continue attracting visitors over the coming year.
Within the regions, the spokeswoman highlighted the cities of New York, Orlando/Kissimmee, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The popularity of these locations is driven by the availability of flights, affordability and the type of holidays available, according to Ms Clery-Ackland.
"Florida and California attract the long-stay holidaymaker and families, with New York attracting city breaks and stop overs," she said.
"Kissimmee offers exceptional value for money, which is why we believe [it] will see significant growth in the central Florida market, as the British visitors are projected to be seeking more value for money."
Travellers interested in visiting these regions can also catch flights to cities such as Miami, San Diego and Buffalo.
