Eurostar To Lay On Love Trains
Eurostar to lay on "love trains" by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Eurostar has announced that it will be offering extra services for travelling couples this Valentine"s Day.
Dubbed "love trains", the additional options on 14 February will give travellers the chance to "find romance on board and in two of Europe"s most enchanting cities", according to Eurostar.
The extra services could also prove useful for Scottish rugby fans travelling to Paris on Valentine"s Day to see their national side take on France in a Six Nations match at the Stade de France.
Eurostar"s plans for extra trains on 14 February have been made possible by the announcement that repairs to the Channel Tunnel are expected to be complete by 10 February.
Simon Montague, the rail company"s communications director, said: "No recession can quell passion, whether it"s for cross-Channel romance or rugby union.
"A trip on Eurostar offers great pleasure and good value, and we"re hoping to spark new relationships between Britain and France, both on and off the field."
The high-speed rail operator recently announced that it expects to return to a full frequency and speed of service through the Channel Tunnel on 23 February.
