"Our excellent on-time performance is a core part of our customer offering along with the ability to travel speedily through the airport," he added.
"Since the recent moves at Heathrow, Terminal 1 now handles 14m passengers (compared to 23m at its peak in 2007), which means our customers can get through Heathrow without any unnecessary delays."
Bmi is the second largest airline based at Heathrow after British Airways and offers direct flights from the airport to destinations including Abu Dhabi, Cape Town, Dublin and Moscow.
