Blackpool "UK"s favourite airport" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Blackpool airport is the most popular air travel hub in the UK, according to a new survey by consumer magazine Which? Holiday.
The airport in north-west England was given an overall customer satisfaction score of 80%, followed closely by London City with a customer rating of 78%.
Both airports were given five-star assessments for factors including the efficiency of check-in, the time it takes to clear security and the overall travel experience.
London Heathrow"s Terminal 5 was ranked joint 23rd of 38 terminals rated, but the airport"s Terminal 1 was bottom of the table with a customer score of 31%.
Lorna Cowan, editor of Which? Holiday, said: "It seems clear that Which? members prefer the experience of flying from smaller regional airports to using the larger ones. So it is well worth looking into the routes offered from smaller airports when planning a holiday to short-haul destinations.
"But people still need to use Gatwick and Heathrow for long-haul trips - our results suggest that these large airports need to work much harder to provide a better service for their passengers."
