Easyjet Brings Forward Manchester Expansion
EasyJet brings forward Manchester expansion by Cheap Flights Booker UK
EasyJet has announced that its expansion at Manchester airport, which was originally scheduled for August, is to be brought forward to 21 May.
The initiative will see the airline launch four new routes from the north-west hub to Corfu and Athens in Greece, Bastia on the French island of Corsica and Dalaman in Turkey.
Additional aircraft will also be based at Manchester airport to operate increased flight frequencies to the summer holiday hotspots of Alicante, Malaga, Tenerife, Malta and Paphos.
Carly Brear, easyJet"s UK commercial manager, described the expansion as "great news for the north-west".
"It means that customers in the north-west can now take advantage of even more of easyJet"s famously low fares to the summer hotspots across Europe, with the care and convenience [of] flying from their local airport," she added.
The airline has also announced that it will boost its frequency of flights to Palma de Mallorca from Glasgow with two extra weekly services between 5 May and 23 June.
