It has already been confirmed that the carrier will launch new flights this year to Athens, Istanbul, Chicago, Melbourne and Larnaca.
Etihad was named the leading first-class operator and the best carrier in the Middle East at the World Travel Awards in 2008, also picking up the "airline of the year" accolade at the British Travel Awards.
