Icelandair Confirms New Flights To Seattle
Icelandair confirms new flights to Seattle by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Transatlantic travellers will be offered a new flight option this summer when Icelandair launches a service from London Heathrow to Seattle Tacoma airport via Reykjavik.
The new flights will begin on 22 July and will operate four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Icelandair will cooperate with Alaska Airlines on the new route, meaning travellers will be offered onward connections to destinations in the US and Canada including Anchorage, Calgary, Vancouver, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Travellers will also be able to fly to Seattle from Manchester if they are willing to make an overnight stopover in Reykjavik.
Hjorvar Saeberg Hognason, general manager of Icelandair in the UK and Ireland, said: "With its accessible nature, active lifestyle and music scene, Seattle is a very similar destination to Iceland.
"We believe both are growing destinations waiting to be explored. And with the option of the Iceland stopover, we hope that passengers will consider combining Seattle and Iceland to make a unique holiday."
Icelandair currently operates a network featuring 25 destinations in North America including Boston, New York, Orlando and Toronto.
