Price "the biggest factor for Brits this year" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Many British consumers will be looking for "cheap and cheerful" getaways this year, with price the biggest factor influencing holiday decisions, according to research by American Express.
One in six (16%) Britons surveyed by the company said that affordability will be their main consideration as they plan their breaks for 2009.
Some 13% of respondents said the low value of the pound will influence their choice of destination, while 11% cited hot weather as the decisive factor following Britain"s freezing winter.
Only 1% said that impact on the environment will be their primary consideration as they plan their holidays this year.
Chris Rolland of American Express said: "Clearly Britons are feeling the strain in the UK at the moment - finances are stretched, jobs are scarce and morale is low. People are understandably keen to get away on a much-needed holiday."
The Association of British Travel Agents and the Foreign Office released a report earlier this year predicting that Turkey, Egypt and Mexico could prove popular as holidaymakers avoid destinations that use the euro.
