Czech Airlines To Increase Access To Russia
Czech Airlines to increase access to Russia by Cheap Flights Booker UK
European travellers interested in visiting Russia will be offered a wider range of flights this year when Czech Airlines increases services to the country.
The carrier announced that it will start flying from Prague to Novosibirsk, the third largest city in the Russian Federation, on 28 April.
Czech Airlines will offer two weekly connections to the city on an Airbus A319 aircraft with the capacity to carry 135 passengers.
Petr Pistelak, vice-president for marketing and product development, said that Czech Airlines is the only carrier based in central Europe that offers flights to Novosibirsk.
The airline described Russia as one of its "most significant markets", a fact that is highlighted by the increasing number of flights that it has launched to destinations including Yekaterinburg and Moscow in recent years.
Czech Airlines announced earlier this year that it will be boosting its summer services to Canada with four weekly flights from Prague to Toronto from early May, offering a total of 156 connections between the two cities throughout the whole season.
