American Airlines updates 757s for international flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK
American Airlines will serve a number of its international routes with updated Boeing 757 aircraft this year following a major reconfiguration of its fleet.
The carrier is in the process of remodelling 18 of its 124 Boeing 757s, equipping them with new seats, improved cabin interiors, upgraded inflight entertainment systems and other facilities.
Passengers on the American Airlines flight from New York JFK to Brussels yesterday (7 May) were among the first to experience the new onboard services.
The updated 757s will be used on Latin American and transatlantic services, possibly including routes from New York to Paris and from Miami to Salvador in Brazil.
Lauri Curtis, the airline"s vice-president of onboard service, said: "American Airlines" fleet of Boeing 757 international aircraft will be well-suited to serve select international routes following the refurbishment initiative."
American Airlines offers flights to major cities in the United States from a number of European destinations, including London, Paris, Madrid and Frankfurt.
