Austrian Airlines expands Middle Eastern network by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Austrian Airlines further expanded its network in the Middle East this week with the launch of new flights to Amman, Jordan from Vienna.
The service got underway on 5 May and will operate three times a week from the Austrian capital.
An Airbus A320 aircraft is being used to operate the flights, offering the airline"s premium service, which is described as a "unique mix of Austrian hospitality and Oriental flair".
Austrian Airlines claims that it is now "excellently positioned" throughout Europe, with 45 destinations in the central and eastern regions of the continent and 15 flight locations in the Middle East.
Other cities that travellers can fly to from the carrier"s hub in Vienna include Dubai, Riyadh, Tel Aviv and Cairo.
The Middle East ceremony of the 2009 World Travel Awards was held this week, with Dubai named the leading destination in the region and Petra in Jordan voted the top tourist attraction.
