New IHG resort to open in Fiji by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers visiting Fiji this year will have the opportunity to stay in a brand new resort due to be opened by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) on 1 June.
The InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa is spread across 35 acres of tropical gardens in the Natadola Beach area of Fiji.
Natadola Beach is located on Viti Levu, Fiji"s main island, and was named one of the 25 best beaches in the world by Forbes magazine last year.
The new resort comprises some 216 rooms and suites, as well as leisure and entertainment facilities including four swimming pools, an on-site dive centre and a gym.
Neil Houghton, general manager of the new complex, said: "Before the InterContinental resort, visitors to Fiji had to travel to the outer islands to find the archipelago"s beautiful beaches, which can add up to a couple of days of travel to the journey. InterContinental Fiji brings that authentic Fijian outer-island experience to the mainland.

IHG also announced this week that it had signed a deal to further expand its presence in the Asia Pacific region by opening its first managed Crowne Plaza hotel in Taiwan.
