Royal Caribbean"s Brilliance of the Seas will continue sailing from Dubai in 2011 following its inaugural season of services based in the emirate next year, the cruise line has announced.
The 2011 season will comprise nine round-trip sailings from January to March that will call in a number of destinations along the coast of the Arabian peninsula.
Cruise travellers will be able to visit Fujairah and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, as well as Mina Sulman in Bahrain and Muscat, the capital of Oman.
Royal Caribbean will also operate a number of round-trip itineraries to India that will include Brilliance of the Seas" maiden port calls in Mumbai, Goa and Cochin.
Passengers will be offered several shore excursions during the 2011 season, including off-road driving in the deserts of Dubai, riding Arabian horses in Bahrain and visiting a palace in Abu Dhabi.
Royal Caribbean will be boosting its profile in the Middle East over the coming years as it operates a joint marketing campaign with the new Dubailand attraction.
