Travel insurance "being left to last minute" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Many British people wait until the last minute to arrange their travel insurance before heading overseas, according to the AA.
The company revealed that more than half of single-trip insurance policies covering a holiday in Europe are bought within three days of departure, with some even being arranged just hours in advance.
According to research by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, nearly a fifth (17%) of British people travel to Europe with no cover at all.
Christian Young, director of AA Travel Insurance, warned that it is not only insurance arrangements that British people often fail to consider.
"People who leave things to the last minute are inevitably going to have less time to be well organised and insurance tends to be [at the] back of [the] mind until it"s too late," he said.
"They are even turning up at the travel terminal without their passports."
Travel insurance will be an important consideration for many British travellers over the next few days, with some 1.8m people expected to head abroad for the bank holiday weekend.
