US Airways confirms flights to Rio de Janeiro by Cheap Flights Booker UK

US Airways has announced schedules for its new flights to Rio de Janeiro, which will get underway on 2 December this year if approval is received from the government of Brazil.
The non-stop service will operate from the airline"s hub in Charlotte, North Carolina, providing the opportunity for connections for people travelling from Europe.
US Airways offers direct flights to Charlotte from London, Paris, Frankfurt and Rome.
The service to Rio de Janeiro will be the airline"s first to South America and its fifth new international route this year.
Suzanne Boda, senior vice-president of international operations for US Airways, said: "This new flight offers business and leisure travellers throughout the United States easy, one-stop connecting service to Brazil."
Bev Perdue, governor of North Carolina, added: "The introduction of a non-stop flight from Charlotte, North Carolina to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is further evidence of our state"s growing presence on the global stage."
The introduction of Rio de Janeiro brings US Airways" total number of destinations in Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America to 56.
