Aer Lingus Confirms New London Gatwick Flights
Aer Lingus confirms new London Gatwick flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK
After making London Gatwick its first base outside Ireland in April this year, Aer Lingus has announced that it will launch new flights to six destinations from the airport in the winter.
The carrier will begin serving Vilnius in Lithuania from 10 September before launching flights to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Bucharest, Eindhoven and Warsaw from 25 October.
Existing Aer Lingus flights to Dublin, Faro, Knock, Malaga, Munich and Vienna will continue to operate from London Gatwick over the winter months, while the service to Nice in France will be suspended.
Enda Corneille, the airline"s corporate affairs director, said: "Aer Lingus" European destinations are still proving to be a huge hit with our customers. Since our first launch back in April, we have sold over 400,000 flights and counting.
"To give our customers a greater choice in destinations, we"ve introduced six new routes which are popular to travellers during the winter months - perfect for anyone looking to escape the British winter."
Aer Lingus marked a milestone at its Irish base of Dublin last month when it celebrated 60 years of operating flights to Birmingham.
