BA sets new punctuality record by Cheap Flights Booker UK

British Airways has announced that it set a new May punctuality record last month, with 87% of its flights departing on time.
The strong on-time performance in the month followed a successful April and Easter period, when 85% of the airline"s services kept to their schedule.
At London Gatwick, BA achieved the best punctuality rate on record for any major carrier in May, with 94% of its flights leaving on time, an increase from the 92% achieved in April.
Operations have also improved at Heathrow Terminal 5, which handled more than 4m customers and around 30,000 flights in April and May.
Andy Lord, BA"s director of operations, said: "We have never had such consistently high feedback scores from our customers and our operation continues to break records on an almost weekly basis.
"On many days we now have more than 90% of our 720 daily flights around the world departing on time."
According to recent research by the Civil Aviation Authority, the overall on-time performance of scheduled flights at the ten busiest airports in the UK increased from 70% to 81% in the first three months of the year.
