EasyJet bases new aircraft in Liverpool by Cheap Flights Booker UK
EasyJet has added a ninth aircraft to its fleet at Liverpool John Lennon airport as it prepares for a summer route expansion.
The £20m Airbus A320 was sent to Liverpool to begin operating new flights to Dubrovnik in Croatia, Naples in Italy and Bordeaux in France.
This is the first time that these three destinations have been accessible from Liverpool John Lennon airport, which is now easyJet"s biggest UK base outside London.
Carly Brear, the airline"s UK commercial manager, said: "We"ve listened to customer feedback and are confident our three newest routes will be a huge success, continuing to expand the choice for our customers in the north of England."
Neil Pakey, deputy chief executive of Peel Airports, added: "The new easyJet routes will give passengers even more destinations to choose from this summer, adding Croatia to the list of countries we now serve and expanding our list of destinations in France and Italy."
Last month, easyJet launched its third aircraft at Manchester airport, which will operate flights to Corfu, Athens, Dalaman and Corsica.
