Korean Air launches new flights to Japan by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Korean Air has launched new flights to Japan from its base in Seoul, which could prove useful for people planning to go travelling in Asia this year.
The carrier began operating flights to Mount Fuji Shizuoka airport, a new hub in central Japan, from Seoul Incheon yesterday (4 June).
Daily services will be available on the new route, which is being operated by a Boeing 737 offering capacity for 187 passengers.
Korean Air said that its new flights will provide travellers with a "hassle-free" experience and offer convenient access to tourist attractions in central Japan such as Mount Fuji, Hamana Lake and the historic hot springs.
The service is also expected to prove useful for business customers heading to the commercial centres of Tokyo and Nagoya.
Korean Air now serves a total of 15 destinations in Japan, with Shizuoka joining cities such as Osaka, Sapporo and Nagasaki in the airline"s network.
Other Asian destinations served by Korean Air from its hub in Seoul include Beijing and Guangzhou in China, Hanoi in Vietnam and Manila in the Philippines.
