Aer Lingus To Launch Extra Flights To Ireland
Aer Lingus to launch extra flights to Ireland by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Aer Lingus has announced that it will increase frequency on its route linking London Heathrow to Shannon in west Ireland.
The carrier will launch a third scheduled daily service between the two destinations, meaning people travelling from London will be able to choose from three flights to Shannon from 25 October.
A total of 158 round-trips between Ireland and London Heathrow will be provided by Aer Lingus when the new flights begin.
Enda Corneille, the airline"s corporate affairs director, said: "The increased frequency will connect Shannon and London Heathrow three times daily, which will further strengthen business, leisure and connecting traffic between the west of Ireland and Europe"s largest international airport.
"This development reflects the growth and strong traffic volumes that we have seen since the resumption of the service last March. We are very encouraged with customer demand for our low-fares, high-quality service."
Aer Lingus will also be extending its network from London Gatwick this winter with the launch of flights to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Bucharest, Eindhoven, Warsaw and Vilnius.
