Airport Security Not A Problem For Most Travellers
Airport security "not a problem for most travellers" by Cheap Flights Booker UK
The thorough security checks that are in place at airports are not a problem for the majority of travellers, according to the Air Transport Users Council (AUC).
James Fremantle, industry affairs manager at the consumer council, said that his organisation does receive some complaints about security processing, but only from a small number of people.
He also stressed that the majority of air passengers are aware of the importance of security and are willing to undergo the checks.
"The majority of people accept the process and that they have to do it," Mr Fremantle said.
"We have surprisingly few complaints about the process – about 20 to 39 throughout the whole of last year."
The AUC spokesman also advised people to pay close attention to security requirements at airports to make the travel experience as quick and easy as possible.
According to a recent survey by G4S Aviation Services, 11% of British travellers fail to check regulations regarding carry-on luggage before setting off on their trips.
