Poor summer "to take Britons overseas" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

A wet summer in the UK is spurring on Britons to book holidays abroad, ABTA - The Travel Association has said.
The organisation, which represents the interests of people working in the travel sector, said that it expected an increase in late holiday bookings.
ABTA pointed out that previous weather predictions from the Met Office suggested that the UK would experience a hot and dry summer, but July has had very unsettled conditions which are likely to continue into August.
The association added that the Mediterranean countries and nations in southern Europe are currently enjoying warm temperatures, with the mercury touching 40 degrees C in some areas.
Mark Tanzer, chief executive or the organisation, said: "The weather does affect business and although we know that poor weather encourages outbound tourism, it"s also true to say that by contrast overseas visitors coming from hot countries enjoy our cooler climate."
