US Airways To Offer Inflight Internet

US Airways to offer inflight internet by Cheap Flights Booker UK

US Airways has announced plans to launch a new inflight internet service.
The airline is teaming up with Aircell to provide the Gogo web access facility, which is set to become operational in early 2010.
Travellers with laptops, smartphones and other internet-enabled devices will be able to pay for access to the web, email, instant messaging services and virtual private networks.
US Airways will install the Aircell system on its Airbus A321 aircraft initially, meaning it will be available on domestic routes only.
Andrew Nocella, the airline"s senior vice-president of marketing and planning, said: "Gogo Inflight Internet will allow our customers to make the most of their flying time by catching up on work or relaxing and surfing the internet.
"This is an exciting new option for our passengers that we believe will enhance their travel experience."
US Airways operates an extensive US network that allows travellers to connect to flights to San Francisco, Seattle, Denver and other cities from its hubs in Philadelphia and Charlotte.
