High Times For Malaysia Airlines

"High times" for Malaysia Airlines by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Malaysia Airlines has revealed that it is "flying high" despite the global economic downturn, with recent figures showing increasing load factors and rising profits.
For the second quarter of the year, the carrier announced a record net profit of 876m ringgits (£150m).
It was also revealed that the airline"s load factor - the rate at which it fills its planes - rose by 10% to 66% on domestic routes and climbed 11% to reach 65% on international services.
Malaysia Airlines" recent success led to it being named one of the top three performing carriers in Aviation Week magazine.
Syed Abdillah Aziz, the airline"s regional manager for the UK and Ireland, said: "Malaysia Airlines will continue to move onwards and upwards; we have already increased capacity for the domestic sector by 6% and in 2010 will take delivery of a new B737-800.
"29 October 2009 marks our move to Heathrow"s improved Terminal 4, where first and business class guests will have access to Malaysia Airlines" new and luxurious Golden Lounges. There are exciting times ahead."
The carrier offers direct flights to Kuala Lumpur from London Heathrow. Its network in Australasia includes flights to Sydney, Auckland and Jakarta.
