Overseas travel "still popular" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Currency weaknesses are unlikely to put off holidaymakers from heading abroad, it has been claimed.
Marc Cogliatti, currency strategist at foreign exchange firm HiFX, explained that Britons will always consider spending their summer holiday overseas as everyone "likes to chase the sunshine".
He added that recent rises in the value of the pound have improved the situation for travellers going abroad now, as compared to those who chose to go overseas earlier in the year.
"Currency will be a little bit of a factor and the fact that the pound has been so weak does add to the overall costs, but I"m not necessarily sure that it"s enough to put the vast majority of Brits off going away," Mr Cogliatti concluded.
Recent figures from the European Central Bank show that the pound was up by 8.34% against the euro on 14 August compared to the same day in 2008.
