"It is the big fat cats who have spent and not taken much account of it. The [small to medium-sized enterprise] market has been very aware that they should watch every penny."
Recent research by The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) and Egencia suggested that the UK ranked fifth on a global scale when it came to spending on business travel.
