Travellers urged to search for best rates by Cheap Flights Booker UK

People planning overseas trips this year have been encouraged to search for the best available exchange rates before setting off on their travels.
According to a survey by International Currency Exchange (Ice), a fifth (21%) of travellers leave their holiday money plans to the last minute and use a bureau de change at the airport.
Only 10% of the people questioned by Ice and Network Rail said they look online to find favourable exchange rates, while 29% are most likely to visit a bank or bureau to buy their holiday money in advance.
Nearly one in six respondents (15%) said they don"t bother exchanging money at all and simply use their debit or credit card abroad.
Andrew Hamilton, head of marketing for Ice, said: "It"s astonishing that with the current focus on making money go further, travellers are not taking advantage of the best rates and commission-free deals available online."
The currency exchange company released statistics in April this year which showed an increasing demand for the won and the yen - the currencies of Korea and Japan respectively.
