BA to launch first TV ad in 2 years by Cheap Flights Booker UK
British Airways will return to the television advertising market this month with the launch of its first commercial in two years.
The new promotional campaign will begin on 7 September and will encourage consumers to travel the world to seize all of the opportunities and experiences on offer to them.
Each advert will last 30 seconds and will focus on a different event taking place in the weeks following the broadcast.
The first will be based on Mumbai Fashion Week, which will run from 18 to 22 September, and the second will cover the migration of wildebeest in the Serengeti in October and November.
Abigail Comber, BA"s brand manager, said: "After the economic difficulties of the last couple of years, we want to encourage people to remember there"s a big world out there that could bring amazing opportunities for both business and pleasure.
"This campaign is also a demonstration of our confidence in the future - we"re here for the long haul and we"re using our money wisely by capitalising on the current low cost of TV advertising to put our brand in the spotlight."
Virgin Atlantic, one of BA"s biggest rivals, launched a major promotional campaign earlier this year to mark its 25th anniversary.
