It is Hawaii"s oldest culinary event and is thought to be the only coffee festival in the United States.
Due to take place on Oahu from 15 to 25 October this year is the Hawaii International Film Festival, which promotes understanding and cultural exchange between civilisations of Asia, the Pacific and North America through the medium of film.
The island of Kauai will also be celebrating culture at the Hawaiiaa Festival and Aloha Week, which will run from 18 to 21 October.
Local artisans and their work will be showcased at this event, which will feature entertainment, workshops, craft shows and other activities at the Grand Hyatt Kauai.
