SAS "most punctual major airline in Europe" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

SAS has retained its status as the most punctual major airline in Europe, it has been revealed.
The carrier cited figures from Flightstats showing that, from June to August this year, 92.7% of its flights arrived on time.
SAS recently carried out a survey of 2,000 Scandinavian travellers and found that more than half (53%) saw delays as the most irritating part of flying.
John Dueholm, chief executive of the airline, said that it had worked hard to improve its punctuality.
He added: "On top of our first-rate punctuality statistics, we also offer our customers a wide range of services that makes travelling with SAS more time-efficient than other airlines, such as SMS and internet check-in, printing your boarding pass before getting to the airport, and then going through fast-track security.
"All in all, we aim to provide our customers with a hassle-free, time efficient and smooth travel experience."
The Civil Aviation Authority released statistics this month showing that the overall on-time performance of scheduled flights at the UK"s ten busiest airports rose to 82% between April and June this year.
