Virgin Atlantic to boost global brand awareness by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Virgin Atlantic has announced plans to boost its "global brand consistency" through the appointment of a single creative agency.
Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R has been hired to handle the airline"s worldwide advertising account.
The company helped develop Virgin Atlantic"s recent 25th birthday promotional campaign, which included an 80s-themed television advert.
Paul Dickinson, the airline"s sales and marketing director, said: "We have conducted a thorough review of our global advertising needs and concluded that Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and its affiliates will continue to help build our global brand consistency.
"We have been very well supported by local agencies around the world for some years but believe the time is right to focus our strategy as we plan for a new phase of growth."
Richard Exon, chief executive of the creative agency, said that the firm looked forward to doing more "standout creative work for the world"s most dynamic airline".
Virgin Atlantic announced earlier this year that its passenger numbers increased to 5.77m in 2008.
