Brits "exploring more of Mexico" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

UK travellers are beginning to show more interest in Mexico as a destination for cultural breaks rather than simply a beach holiday hotspot, according to a tourism industry spokesman.
Manuel Diaz Cebrian, UK and Europe director of the Mexico Tourism Board, said it is "no secret" that the country has "fantastic" beaches that can be visited throughout the year.
However, he pointed out that British visitors in particular are beginning to change their agendas and seek out alternative experiences.
"We have seen a noticeable shift towards tourists looking for a more cultured holiday destination and as such we are seeing the perception of Mexico changing as people realise what else Mexico offers … from jungles and forests to volcanoes and Aztec ruins," Mr Diaz Cebrian commented.
The spokesman said that Britain is an "all-important" tourism source market for Mexico, with visitor numbers growing consistently in recent years.
A promotional campaign was launched recently that focuses on aspects of the country including cinema, art and cuisine.
