Christmas abroad "attractive option" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Research from Virgin Money Travel Insurance suggested that Krakow in Poland is the cheapest option for a break during the festive season.
On the other end of the scale, Prague in the Czech Republic is surprisingly the most expensive mini-break option, the firm added.
However, Virgin Money said that volatile exchange rates have not dampened some Britons" plans to head to the Continent this festive season.
Grant Bather of the insurer said: "Of course Lapland is the home of Santa and reindeers but if you"re not worried about that then Krakow is the best value.
"While the exchange rate of the euro and some other currencies are not as favourable as they have been, taking a trip abroad just before Christmas is still an attractive option and you might pick up that special present."
