EasyJet announces Dusseldorf flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK

EasyJet has announced plans to expand its presence in Germany next year with extra flights to Dusseldorf.
The carrier confirmed that it would launch daily services to the city from Rome Fiumicino and London Gatwick on 1 and 2 February respectively.
Business passengers are expected to welcome the additional flights to Dusseldorf, which is an important European commercial centre.
However, easyJet also said that the connections could prove popular among leisure travellers, describing the German destination as "a modern city with a lively cultural scene and vibrant nightlife".
The airline will be launching 29 new routes over the 2009-10 winter season, including flights to Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Marrakech and other sun destinations as well as major cities such as Copenhagen and Munich.
Andy Harrison, chief executive of easyJet, recently spoke about the carrier"s position on the environment, saying that technology is "the key to cutting aviation emissions" and highlighting the potential of new aircraft to reduce carbon output.
