First Hotel Indigo opens in New York City by Cheap Flights Booker UK

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced that it has opened its first Hotel Indigo property in New York City.
The establishment is located on West 28th Street in the Chelsea neighbourhood of Manhattan and will bring "style and substance" to the area, according to the company.
Guests are accommodated in 122 rooms and can make use of facilities including the Blu restaurant, which serves American bistro-style food with a "local perspective".
Each room features a 32-inch high definition television, while complimentary access to a wireless internet network and a 24-hour fitness studio is also available in the hotel.
Janis Cannon, vice-president of global brand management for Hotel Indigo, said: "As one of the city"s most eclectic and dynamic neighborhoods, Chelsea is the perfect location for the first Hotel Indigo in New York City.
"The Hotel Indigo model strikes a great balance for developers because it provides guests [with] the refreshing design and intimate service synonymous with a boutique, along with the consistency, reliability and accessibility of a branded hotel."
IHG is set to open four new Hotel Indigo properties in the US before the end of the year and has also reached a deal for a new development in Hong Kong.
