Flybe Passengers Will Be Unaffected By Gatwick Disruption
Flybe passengers "will be unaffected by Gatwick disruption" by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Flybe has reassured its passengers that they will be "wholly unaffected" by the disruption at Gatwick airport over the next eight months, resulting from the closure of a transit link between the north and south terminals.
A replacement bus service will be available that is expected to add 20 minutes to the journey times of people travelling between the two facilities.
Flybe reported a "healthy upsurge" in bookings for its 466 weekly flights from London Gatwick"s south terminal from passengers eager to avoid the inconvenience of travelling to the north site.
The regional airline claims that it now carries more domestic passengers from the airport than any other operator.
Chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said: "Passengers and booking agents have been quick to realise that, by booking with Flybe, they can now also offset the less than adequate transport link between the two terminals that, over the next eight months or so, will greatly inconvenience travellers having to use Gatwick"s north terminal."
The carrier"s network from London Gatwick includes flights to Dusseldorf, Bergerac, Newcastle and Aberdeen.
