Heathrow Named Worst Airport
Heathrow named worst airport by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers have named Heathrow Airport the worst in the world in a new poll.
The survey, carried out by airport lounge programme Priority Pass, duplicated results from last year when the London airport came bottom of the list.
Heathrow was closely followed by Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport in the worst airport category, with Los Angeles International (LAX) coming in at third place.
On the best airport list, Singapore Changi reached the top spot and was followed by Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok and Amsterdam Schipol.
More than 14,000 travellers from 160 countries were questioned as part of the survey.
Jonathan French, head of brand for Priority Pass, said: "The travellers who took part in this survey took almost 250,000 flights between them over the last year and that means they know a thing or two about airports.
"Sadly, Heathrow remains firmly entrenched as the airport the world loves to hate."
Heathrow Airport is owned and managed by BAA, which just last week announced plans to sell London Gatwick Airport.
