New campaign highlights Canadian skiing scene by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers considering winter sports holidays during the forthcoming season may come across a number of adverts and promotions focusing on Canada.
The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) and the Canadian Destination Ski Consortia announced that their 2009-10 ski and snowboard marketing campaign is being launched this month.
Online and print media will be the focus of the initiative, which will feature the slogan "You haven"t skied until you"ve skied Canada".
The Daily Mail Ski and Board magazine will be one of the platforms for the campaign, with a calendar due to be released in January 2010 featuring photographs of Canadian resorts and the chance to win a ski holiday with Air Canada.
Samantha Campbell, consumer promotions manager at CTC UK, said: "As Canada prepares to host the 2010 Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Canadian ski and board experience is about to be put under the spotlight as never before.
"This campaign seeks to highlight that whilst everyone can enjoy the energy of the Winter Games at all of the resorts across Canada, there is still great value and availability to be had throughout the entire season."
There will be five exhibitors representing Canada at the British Ski and Snowboard Show at the Birmingham NEC from 30 October to 1 November.
