New campaign promotes Thailand"s affordability by Cheap Flights Booker UK
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched a new promotional campaign that focuses on the country"s affordability and value for money.
A brochure has been created in a magazine style and is designed to be "fun, informative and easy to read", the tourism agency revealed.
Some 80,000 copies are being printed, 50,000 of which will be enclosed in issues of the Mail on Sunday.
The TAT said that it had also invested in new photography as part of the campaign, creating a series of images of local Thai people and price boards highlighting the affordability of the country.
Khun Tanes Petsuwan, director of the agency in London, said: "Thailand is leading the way as a value for money holiday destination and in light of recent changes in consumer purchasing patterns and spending behaviour, we saw an opportunity to showcase this."
Joanna Cooke, marketing manager for TAT UK, added: "Thailand is very much back in business and tourist arrival figures from the UK are on the increase."
