New Park Experiences To Be Offered In Western Australia
New park experiences to be offered in Western Australia by Cheap Flights Booker UK
The government of Western Australia is set to launch a programme that could provide new national park experiences for travellers.
Naturebank, which was announced by tourism minister Liz Constable and environment minister Donna Faragher, aims to provide low-impact accommodation options, mostly within national parks and reserves.
Potential development sites will be identified through the scheme and due diligence checks will be carried out to ensure that the locations can be used without having a damaging impact on the environment.
Dr Constable said that the initiative will provide new travel experiences and also benefit the economy through extra investment and employment.
She added: "Naturebank will pave the way for world-class accommodation facilities and activities in the heart of our national parks - some of the most stunning and diverse attractions in the world."
The programme is part of a new approach to the management of nature tourism in Western Australia.
Travellers can visit several eco-friendly attractions in the state, such as Eco Beach in Broome and the Sal Salis camp at Ningaloo Reef.
