Tourist board welcomes new Warsaw flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK
The Polish National Tourist Office (PNTO) has welcomed new flights to Warsaw that are set to be launched by Aer Lingus this weekend.
Travellers will be offered one return service to the Polish capital from London Gatwick every day from 25 October.
Poland will now be placed "on the doorstep of thousands of British holidaymakers", the national tourist board said.
Bogdan Becla, acting director of the PNTO, said: "It"s really great news that Aer Lingus is scheduling flights seven days a week between London and Warsaw, which makes it even easier for people to visit Poland.
"While this new route gives people more opportunities to holiday in Poland, it also reflects the popularity of our country, which is one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the world."
Aer Lingus provides further access to eastern Europe with its flights to Vilnius and Bucharest from London Gatwick.
People planning a winter sun holiday can travel to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Malaga or Faro with the airline.
