Air Canada confirms new domestic flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK
People travelling in Canada next year will be able to take advantage of new flights to Iqaluit in the Nunavut region with Air Canada.
The airline announced that it will be expanding its domestic network to the north on 28 March with daily, non-stop services from Ottawa and Montreal.
Marcel Forget, the carrier"s vice-president for network planning, said that it is carrying out a strategic expansion of its domestic services to offer maximum choice to customers.
He added: "We expect our new service to be popular with both government and business travellers, as well as leisure travellers looking to experience the striking and remarkable landscape of Canada"s Arctic.
"The introduction of flights from Air Canada"s newest and most northern destination to both Montreal and Ottawa links Canada"s eastern Arctic directly to our global network with convenient connections to points across our extensive domestic, trans-border and international network."
A Bombardier CRJ 705 aircraft will operate the flights, offering 75 seats with a personal seat-back entertainment system.
Air Canada"s domestic network also includes flights to Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg and Calgary.
