Alberta ski resort now open by Cheap Flights Booker UK
The Nakiska ski resort in the province of Alberta, Canada, is now open, the regional tourist board has announced.
Travel Alberta said that the complex, which is open for weekends, features some of the longest vertical runs in the Albertan Rockies.
Visitors can try their luck on more than 850 metres of verticals at the resort, which also boasts regular early season snowfalls and the largest snowmaking system in western Canada.
On Saturdays, skiers and snowboarders will be able to use the new Gold Chair Express lift at Nakiska, which provides access to more runs.
Another highlight of the forthcoming winter season at the resort is the new Monster Glades area, which covers some 70 acres and encompasses 13 new trails.
Alberta is located in western Canada and borders the provinces of British Columbia, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.
The easiest way to reach the region is by taking flights to Calgary or Edmonton, which are available with Air Canada, United Airlines, Lufthansa and other carriers.
