Belgian cuisine to be celebrated in London by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Britons planning a trip to Belgium in the future will have the opportunity to visit Harrods in London this year to sample some of the country"s cuisine.

Tourism Flanders has teamed up with the department store to arrange an event showcasing a variety of premium Flemish products.

From 25 November until 8 December, visitors will be able to stop off in the Sea Grill and Rotisserie restaurants to sample dishes created by the Michelin-starred chefs Bart Desmidt, David Sevranckx, Piet Devriendt and Vincent Florizoone.

Both eateries will serve specialties including fresh scallops, mussels and steak tartare, while the Chocolate Bar on the second floor of Harrods will sell a selection of sweet treats from Belgium.

Dawn Page, UK director of Tourism Flanders, said: "We are proud of the forthcoming promotion in association with Harrods.

"We hope to showcase the best of Flemish food and drink and give gastronomes "food for thought" when they plan their next trip to the continent."
