Czech Airlines Travellers Offered Self Check In
Czech Airlines travellers offered self check-in by Cheap Flights Booker UK
People travelling by Czech Airlines are now able to check-in themselves.
The carrier has offered travellers at Ruzyne Airport the option of self check-in and has set up several self-service kiosks at the aiport.
Passengers with e-tickets will be able to use one of nine kiosks, located in Terminal One, to enter their travel details.
After manually inputting their 13 to 14-digit e-ticket code, travellers will be given the option to select their seat and can then print off their boarding card.
Peter Jusko, vice-president for operational services at Czech Airlines, said: "The new technology allows us to look farther into the future, to contemplate the introduction of services such as using self-service kiosks to pay for excess baggage beyond the scope of the conditions of carriage, upgrades to a higher class, or paid access to VIP lounges."
New kiosks are also expected to be rolled out at London Heathrow Airport today (30 November), meaning this facility will now be available to Czech Airlines travellers using the largest airport in the London area.
