Emirates to expand flights into Asia by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Emirates is offering passengers a number of additional flights to Asia over the course of the next two months.
According to the airline, 17 additional flights will be provided for travellers looking to explore the Asia-Pacific region between December 2009 and January 2010.
Up to 187 flights will be provided to this region following the expansion to Bangkok, Manila, Sydney and Jakarta.
Richard Jewsbury, senior vice-president at Emirates for commercial operations in the Far East and Australia, said: "The Middle East is one of the few regions that continues to record steady traffic growth, demonstrated by an 8% expansion in passenger demand since the beginning of the year.
"At the same time, Asian markets are rebounding with reports of resurgent traffic at key airports in the region. We are confident of seeing a recovery soon and are introducing additional capacity to serve the increasing demand."
Figures from the Dubai International Airport recorded a 35% increase in traffic to Asia during September.
