Inspirational images on show at Toronto Pearson by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers catching flights to Toronto Pearson airport in Canada over the coming months will be greeted by images of some of the region"s tourism experiences as part of a new project.
More than 26,000 international passengers travel through the hub every day, making it the country"s busiest airport.
As part of the Welcome to Canada initiative, travellers will be shown images of Ontario"s leading attractions, along with messages relating to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, which will get underway in Vancouver next February.
Monique Smith, minister of tourism in the province, said: "Tourism is an important economic driver in Ontario; it creates jobs and strengthens the economy.
"Not only will these new images provide travellers from around the world with some great travel ideas, it will also encourage them to extend their visit in Ontario and experience why "There"s No Place Like This"."
The Welcome to Canada scheme was launched at Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier airport earlier this year and will be introduced at other locations across the country in the near future.
