JAL Moves Heathrow Lounge
JAL moves Heathrow lounge by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Japan Airlines (JAL) is to close its lounges at London Heathrow Airport in mid-December.
The carrier"s First Class Lounge and Sakura Lounge for executive class passengers will stop operating on 14 December.
Meanwhile, JAL is renovating its lounges in other airports, such as Frankfurt and Moscow, in order to maintain standards set by the revamped lounge at Tokyo Narita Airport.
After the closure at Heathrow, JAL passengers will be able to access the British Airways (BA) Galleries First and Galleries Club venues in Terminal 3.
These are located near departure gates and shopping areas and offer travellers a range of services including showers, a business centre and wireless internet.
BA"s lounges are open to JAL travellers because the two airlines are codeshare partners.
Through London Heathrow, the British carrier connects JAL passengers to other cities within the UK, such as Manchester and Edinburgh, and on the continent, like Milan and Paris.
