Twilight fans encouraged to visit Canada by Cheap Flights Booker UK

The organisation announced that it had created a cinema and online marketing campaign to coincide with the release of New Moon, the second installment in the franchise, on 20 November.

One of the main messages in the advertising scheme will focus on the fact that the movie was filmed in the province of British Columbia in Canada.

There will also be a competition launched, offering prizes including a pair of tickets to the UK premiere of New Moon on 18 November.

Samantha Campbell, consumer promotions manager for the CTC, said: "Film tourism remains a powerful destination marketing message providing a successful route for several destinations as "virtual brochures".

"We certainly hope that film goers are inspired to think about Canada afresh, or maybe even for the first time."

People interested in visiting British Columbia can catch flights to Vancouver, the province"s largest city, with British Airways, KLM, Air Canada and other carriers.
